On Earth

Over summer 2021 I collated most of my works from my university degree (Marine and Natural History Photography) and created a magazine of all the stories I have made,  all written and photographic work was created by me during my three years and really opened my eyes up to using the medium of magazines for exhibiting photographs. A heavily minimalistic format I tried to keep this as simple as possible. I hope as this project develops that I could start regularly publishing this magazine in a strictly minimalistic/no advert format, and feature other photographers and their photo stories.

Norway, Pasvik

Pasvik Valley is located between Finland and Russia in the most eastern part of Norway. This area is renowned for its amazing wildlife. Our goal was to see owls, specifically Great Greys and Hawk. ‘Mr Pasvik’ or Ben-Arne Sotkajærvi, was our reliable guide, who monitors the birdlife in the area. 2019 has been a great year for owls with Pasvik having up to 4-6 Great Grey Owls.

It was incredible to get the views we did, photography opportunities at this location are one of a kind.
